PET SITTING
Smooches for your pooches, kisses for your kitties, breakfast for your birds, food for your fishies, snacks for your snakes – we’ll work with anything nonvenomous! Whether you’re just going to be gone overnight, or will be away for an extended length of time, we can provide experienced, loving care for your pets and your home.
Our pet-sitting fee includes:
providing food, water, and treats to your pets
giving medication to your pets, if needed
(including insulin injections and allergy shots)
lots of individualized attention and affection – walks, playtime, petting, minor grooming, and snuggling, as desired/appropriate
cleanup of pet waste and/or accidents as needed
litter box scooping
bird cage liner change
taking trash/recycling in/out
bringing in your mail, newspaper(s), and packages
watering plants/flowers (inside and out)
adjusting your lights, curtains, or blinds as needed
RATES
Our base rate is $17 per visit. A visit typically lasts approximately 30 minutes and depends on the number of pets you have and how interested in interacting with us they are.
There is no charge for our initial meeting and consultation with you. This visit gives us all a chance to get to know each other, and to find out if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk with you about your pet’s food, medication, and playtime/exercise needs, and their medical and behavioral history. We’ll ask you to tell us about their quirky behaviors, weird habits, and favorite hiding places. We’ll also go over your home care needs (mail, trash) and ask about who else has access to your house (cleaners, guests). If we’re a good fit, we’ll ask you to sign our “Authorization for Medical Care” form, provide us with a key to your home and/or security access code(s), and, if you’re a first-time client, payment.
OVERNIGHT STAYS IN YOUR HOME
We consider an overnight visit to start in the late afternoon or early evening (the “suppertime” visit) and extend into breakfast time the following day. If you would like us to make additional visits during the day, those will be charged separately.
RATES
Prices for overnight visits start at $50 per night. We can give a final determination of price after meeting with you and your pets and discussing your needs.
